About This Tour
A unique full-day trip into the province of Argolis. The route follows the coastal road to a brief stop at the Corinth Canal, then heads south to Nafplio — Greece's first capital after independence — with time to stroll through its charming Venetian alleys, admire the Palamidi Castle and Bourtzi stronghold, and visit Saint George Cathedral.
The tour continues to Mycenae, the legendary citadel of Agamemnon and centre of the Bronze Age world. Walk through the famous Lion's Gate, the monumental entrance flanked by carved lions, inspect the massive Cyclopean Walls and descend into the Treasury of Atreus — one of the finest tholos tombs in Greece.
