What Makes This Tour Unique

Two days in the Argolis region, combining the Bronze Age citadel of Mycenae, the elegant Venetian town of Nafplio and the spectacular Theatre of Epidauros.

About This Tour

Two days exploring the magnificent Argolis region of the Peloponnese.

Day 1: Drive to the Corinth Canal for a brief stop, then visit Mycenae — the legendary Bronze Age citadel with its Lion's Gate, Cyclopean Walls and Treasury of Atreus — followed by lunch. Continue to Nafplio, the elegant first capital of modern Greece, described by the Venetians as the "Naples of Greece". The afternoon is free to explore its charming alleys, Palamidi Castle and picturesque waterfront. Overnight with dinner.

Day 2: Morning at leisure to enjoy Nafplio before departing for the Theatre of Epidauros, one of the best-preserved ancient theatres in the world, renowned for its perfect acoustics. Return to Athens.
